Control panel dead after replacing lid lock
Replacing parts like a lid lock, drain pump, or control board often leaves the appliance's control panel completely dead or trapped in a repeating loop flashing ":00". Because the machine refuses to display error codes or respond to standard button presses, owners are locked out of the diagnostic mode needed to reset or calibrate the appliance.
