Is it safe to put a couch over a floor heat vent?
Blocking a floor supply vent with furniture restricts airflow and strains your HVAC system, while covering a return vent cuts off the intake air your system needs to circulate properly. In small spaces where layout options are limited, this can lead to uneven room temperatures and increased wear on the equipment.
