Why is my car AC blowing hot on one side?
The air conditioning system blows cold air on one side and hot air on the other due to issues like a malfunctioning blend door actuator or refrigerant flow problems. This causes the climate control to fail completely after running for a while or when idling in traffic.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1changing out the blue door actuator
- 2fixing leaks
- 3recharging the air conditioning system
- 4getting an evacuation and recharge service
- 5taking the car to an auto repair shop for diagnosis
