Pest control sprayed my personal items and outdoor furniture
Pest control technicians are negligently leaving puddles of liquid pesticides directly on personal belongings, pet toys, outdoor grills, and food preparation surfaces. This leaves residents sick to their stomach, panicked about the safety of their family and pets, and struggling to figure out how to safely clean or handle contaminated items.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Washing sprayed surfaces and items with soap and water
- 2Removing items from the area prior to service
- 3Filing a complaint with the pest control company's management
- 4Staying out of the unit for extended periods
- 5Cleaning up and wiping away pools of chemical residue manually

“Wait till the next day and still pools every where. So was the stuff over used or is this normal to try and kill ppl and their pets?”source ↗
