New floor has too many dark and light boards grouped together
Planks with contrasting light and dark shades are unevenly distributed across the floor, creating a distracting pattern with woods grouped in clumps rather than mixed properly. Because baseboards are already installed over the material, fixing the blotchy layout requires pulling up the flooring to shuffle and re-lay the boards by hand.
