Why is my washing machine showing multiple different error codes?

Washing machines often display ambiguous error codes like Eb90, E02, or E10 that can point to several different underlying issues. This confusion leaves you unable to tell whether the malfunction is caused by the appliance itself or a home plumbing problem, halting your laundry cycle mid-way.

The machine goes through the wash cycle two-thirds of the way. The drum then fills up with water and shows an E10 error.source ↗

It started with Eb90 on Cottons E02 on Mix Eb20 on Spinsource ↗

I’m a bit confused by these error codes bc apparently they could mean several things for each code lolsource ↗
