How to tell if a cat is spayed without vet records
When personal paperwork is lost, owners often cannot say for sure if a female cat has already been spayed. This uncertainty leaves them worrying that the cat will get pregnant or be intensely miserable going into heat without a mate. To guarantee she won't get pregnant, they must schedule a spay appointment while struggling with the guilt of taking away her autonomy.
