Why does my clutch slip when hot and drag when shifting?
Heat buildup from traffic or heavy acceleration can cause the clutch to slip under load while simultaneously failing to fully disengage, leading to gear grinding and delayed engagement. This dual failure makes the car difficult to shift and hesitation-prone when trying to move from a stop.
