What else can I use this cleaning product for?
Labels advertise hundreds of uses for a single cleaning product, but most people struggle to think past two or three obvious functions. This leaves unused products piling up in cupboards because users cannot figure out what else they are good for or whether they should just throw them away.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Asking other users for cleaning tips and interesting ideas on forums
- 2Sticking to basic, well-known uses like laundry stains
- 3Tossing them out
- 4Rehoming or giving them away
- 5Using them to clean water bottles, water bottle lids, trash cans, blender parts, and dish brushes
