Why is there no affordable powered core aerator for homeowners?

Powered core aerators are either too expensive to buy or require inconvenient rentals, forcing people to store bulky tow-behind equipment or skip lawn maintenance altogether. This lack of an accessible option stops homeowners from performing recommended lawn care regularly.
