Cleaners keep moving my things and I can't find them

Cleaners routinely relocate daily items and household goods to random surfaces, other rooms, or different cabinets instead of returning them to their original spots. This forces homeowners to spend time searching for their belongings every time the house is cleaned.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Doing a scavenger hunt or mini hunt around the home to find moved items
  2. 2
Telling the cleaners how you feel and giving them direct feedback
  3. 3
Accepting that items will be misplaced and handling certain areas yourself
