Power steering leaking fast: do I tighten or replace?
A severe power steering leak can drain the fluid almost completely in just a few days and cause a loud whirring noise while driving. If the leak is coming from the pressure line entering the steering rack, the immediate challenge is determining whether the connection simply needs tightening or if the entire line must be replaced.
