Why is there a random cold spot on my ceiling?
Unexplained cold spots on a ceiling could be water dropping from the attic, issues near a floor vent, or an old oily stain from something stuck there. It is difficult to decipher the exact source simply by looking at whether the area is bubbling or forming dark spots from seeping water. This leaves residents unsure of what to check next, often forcing them to buy tools like moisture meters to find the root cause.
