Why are my rear brake pads wearing out so fast?
Rear brake pads and rotors can wear out prematurely—sometimes in under 15,000 miles—due to hardware failure or a sticking caliper that keeps the pad constantly engaged against the rotor. This rapid wear causes grinding noises, warped rotors, and severe steering wheel vibration when braking, forcing premature replacements that manufacturers often refuse to cover under warranty.
