How to stop bad data entry before it saves

Data must be validated exactly at the point of entry to block invalid records before they are created or updated. Even with dropdown restrictions, reps will still format fields incorrectly, mistype dates, or pick the wrong subsidiary. Relying on cleanup afterward causes chaos because nobody wants to own the data issues and admit their team keyed things wrong.
