Said It Here

Why can't I stop looking at wedding dresses after buying mine?

Stopping the search feels impossible once a dress is chosen because the shopping experience itself is fun and the sheer volume of alternative styles triggers lingering doubt. This endless second-guessing leaves brides feeling guilty about wasting time and unable to shake the fear that they made the wrong choice.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Focusing on shopping for accessories like shoes, jewelry, and undergarments
  2. 2
Looking for getting-ready outfits for the morning of the wedding

I know this is silly but I'm sad I won't get to try on more dresses! I said YES to the dress and it was a wonderful, special experience but now I have post shopping blues lol I thought it was such a fun processes! I also know they also say to stop looking at dresses after you pick yours but I can't help myself.... in the back of my mind, I'm still hoping I made the right choice...source ↗

I felt the same way! I'm so happy with my dress, but I was tempted to travel to Los Angeles (I'm in Orange County, CA) just to try on more dresses that I knew weren't the style I was going for. I didn't...but I thought about it lolsource ↗
