Shower finish peeling off when cleaning
Scrubbing fiberglass or acrylic showers with abrasive tools like scour pads or baking soda paste can strip away the protective surface layer. This leaves the finish damaged and creates uncertainty about whether the surface was poorly reglazed or defective from the start.
