Why does my replacement car part look different than the original?
Parts stores and online matching features often say a component will fit your vehicle, even when a physical inspection reveals it doesn't look the same. Installing cheap, mismatched aftermarket parts anyway can lead to premature failure within weeks. This forces you to redo the entire job and pay for the repair all over again with quality parts.
