Why is water overflowing from my washing machine dispenser tray?
Water and soap back up through the dispenser tray and utility sink because a clogged main drain blocks normal water flow, forcing it to find an alternate exit. This happens during cycles like the tub clean function when water cannot escape properly through the standard drainage path.
