- 27HVAC lineset leaking through the roofWhen HVAC linesets penetrate the roof rather than exterior walls, they often cause ceiling leaks that installers blame on unrelated roof issues like valleys. This leaves homeowners struggling to find a reliable fix without paying thousands more for contractor repairs.
- 10Why is there a weird drop in my ceiling?Unexplained drops or uneven sections in a ceiling usually conceal structural framing, HVAC ductwork, or plumbing chases. Homeowners cannot safely identify what is hidden inside without inspecting the cavity, which leaves them unable to determine if the drop serves a mechanical purpose or indicates a hidden flaw.
- 2How do I find the source of a mysterious bathroom leak?Water pooling between a vanity and a toilet can leave wood swollen and create confusion over whether the issue stems from the plumbing or the wax ring. Without clear first steps, it is difficult to determine where the water is actually coming from.
