Why does adding multiple items to an online store take so long?

Listing inventory item by item requires filling out extensive details, editing photos, and rewriting SEO descriptions for every single product. This tedious manual process prevents sellers from efficiently scaling their shops and turns basic catalog management into an exhausting chore.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Duplicating a similar existing listing and then editing the details, titles, descriptions, tags, and photos for the new item.

It is a kind of pain to add everything one by one in a list and it really takes time to list a single item sometimes because of extensive details.source ↗

Ya it takes time. Copying similar product is one thing but changing the descriptions to make it SEO friendly, tags, editing photos after taking them (Photoshop), etc. To me I know it's worth it as far as making each listing quality over quantity. Some days it's a pain 🥲source ↗
