How to aerate dry, hard soil in autumn
Dry autumn soil prevents standard aeration equipment from pulling proper plugs, causing machines to bounce off the surface instead of releasing cores. Without enough moisture to soften the ground, property owners are left with lawns too compacted to aerate properly, leading landscapers to halt the job entirely.
