Washing machine drain pipe keeps leaking after putting back on

Flexible waste pipes often sit loosely inside under-sink connections even after being pushed in and tightened. Without a proper clamp, rubber seal, or connector piece to lock the joint in place, water continuously leaks out at the connection point.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Loosen the jubilee clip, raise the angle of the pipe to run downhill, push the pipe further onto the fitting, and retighten the clip.

Now I’ve put it back on and it keeps leaking. How is this supposed to attach?source ↗

The flexible waste pipe goes into the upvc pipe under the sink. However one of the joints just sits there loose so not sure what to buy to secure.source ↗

The first 2 pictures are the pipes that need to secure but once pushed in and tightened they stay loose?source ↗
