Why won't my car door latch closed?
When a car door refuses to latch, the handles fail to engage the mechanism, leaving the door loose or held shut only by makeshift ropes. This mechanical failure creates a dangerous safety hazard that prevents normal highway driving and leaves the vehicle insecure.
