Why do I keep losing final round interviews to more experienced candidates?
Employers often repost roles with higher compensation and experience requirements after interviewing finalists, or select competing applicants with years of extra background. This leaves qualified finalists waiting indefinitely without offers and prevents them from securing the positions they interviewed for.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Continuing to interview with other companies while waiting to hear back
- 2Getting any non-admin job at a company that uses the platform and internally transitioning to the team
- 3Volunteering for non-profits to gain real-world experience
- 4Building a developer org and showcasing portfolio projects during interviews
