Why does my cat refuse to use a dirty litter box?
Some cats will completely refuse to use a litter box if it has even a single deposit in it, resulting in accidents outside the box or endless meowing until it is cleaned. This hyper-picky behavior forces owners to constantly monitor and scoop the box multiple times a day to prevent messes.
