Should I keep old roles on my resume?

Dropping older roles lets you highlight continuous recent experience and keeps the resume simple if you haven't written one in a while. However, it leaves a large gap, making it hard to decide whether to just stick to recent work or add older jobs back in.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
    Keeping the formatting simple
  2. 2
Removing the professional summary to save space
  3. 3
Using a skills section to fill the page
