Why does my oven say Un Loc dor and won't bake?
Even after replacing the igniter or verifying control board voltage, an oven may fail to heat because of a faulty gas valve or a false "Un Loc dor" error message that prevents the bake function from starting. This leaves people guessing whether the gas valve requires full replacement or if the door lock mechanism is blocking normal operation.
