Cheap dog enrichment ideas when you can't walk them

Store-bought puzzles cost upwards of €20 and quickly lose their novelty once a dog figures them out. Finding non-food alternatives is equally difficult because many dogs are purely food-motivated. This lack of long-lasting options leaves owners feeling guilty and overthinking how to entertain their dogs before crate time when it is too dark and unsafe to walk.

“I’m interested in a puzzle but honestly not sure if I want to spend upwards of €20 on something that’ll lose novelty once they figure it out when I could use the money towards something a little more long lasting.”source ↗

“Honestly would like to steer away from just food games but Dolly is purely food motivated and based off of what I’ve heard about Kenny hes the same.”source ↗
