Can you buy clothes that fit in Vietnam if you are plus size?
Foreign clothing sizes are often much smaller, leaving travelers worried they won't find anything that fits. This makes it difficult to buy local clothes and forces travelers to pack everything from home instead.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Bringing clothes from home instead of buying them at the destination
- 2Trying different retail stores (Walmart, Kohl's, Target, Meijer, Old Navy)
- 3Switching to women's sizes or women's petites
- 4Checking the juniors section
