Why are my disposable camera pictures coming out dark or black?
Disposable cameras have very weak indoor flashes and a tiny fixed aperture that requires direct, bright light to expose the film properly. Guests frequently forget to flip or click the flash on in dim or evening settings, resulting in entirely blank, black rolls of film that ruin the memories you hoped to capture.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1reminding guests table-to-table to keep the flash on
- 2using cameras where the flash stays on automatically unless manually turned off
- 3leaving a note on the camera about using the flash
