How to handle a clingy and manipulative student
The student constantly seeks validation by claiming to be the teacher's pet and demanding excessive attention. This behavior becomes manipulative when the student feigns distress to the school counselor to escape assignments and forces the teacher to constantly rearrange seating charts. Ultimately, the student shifts the blame, making it incredibly difficult for the teacher to manage the classroom and tolerate the ongoing disrespect.
