Do aftermarket oil drain valves get snagged or clogged?
Aftermarket valves protrude below the oil pan, creating the risk that a speed bump or stray rock could shear them off and drain the entire engine. Drivers also worry that engine sludge and debris will fail to pass through the valve's narrow opening during an oil change.
