Is a melted electrical socket safe to leave until morning?

“A lightbulb recently died in my laundry room and when I went to change it I noticed some discolouration around the outside of the socket. As well as what looks to be burn marks on the inside. I just moved in so this is the first time I've changed the bulb.”source ↗
