When should I upgrade to a paid ecommerce theme?
You need to upgrade once developers no longer offer updates for your current template. Continuing to use an unsupported theme risks your site getting compromised and suspended by your host without warning. Even if you patch it along for a while, you will eventually wake up to a white screen with no clue what broke.
