Why can't I find in-stock items on retail websites?
Retail search engines often hide products behind exact manufacturer model numbers and falsely display out-of-stock items as available. This broken inventory tracking, combined with missing aisle locations and broken login loops, prevents shoppers from confirming what is actually on the shelf before making a trip.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Using Google search to find products on the site
- 2Switching to competitor retailers like Lowe's
- 3Knowing the exact make and model beforehand
