Dishwasher lights blinking and won't start
Blinking indicator lights often signal an active error state or incomplete cycle that a standard circuit breaker reset cannot clear. This locks the control panel and stops the dishwasher from running new cycles until the underlying fault code or diagnostic lock is resolved.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1Turning off the circuit breaker for 10 minutes
- 2Running a diagnostic cycle
- 3Cutting power to the dishwasher to clear out the error
- 4Increasing the water heater temperature
- 5Heating the water before starting the cycle
