Why does a newly replaced driveshaft keep failing?
A freshly installed driveshaft or U-joint can quickly shake loose or fall apart again during highway driving, leaving the vehicle trapped on the road. This sudden failure stops the car from accelerating smoothly and causes a violent screeching or grinding noise whenever power is applied.
