Car shakes when accelerating after replacing CV axles

Replacing CV axles with non-OEM or cheap aftermarket parts frequently causes a distinct shudder during acceleration or in four-wheel drive. Drivers experience a wobble at low speeds and severe shaking around 60 mph, even when nothing appears loose or broken under the vehicle. The shaking immediately stops when letting off the gas and is usually only resolved by swapping back to stock axles.
