Why do software updates keep changing the menu layout?

Frequent updates randomly reshuffle menus and bury essential tools like report tabs. Compounding the issue, these redesigns sometimes remove the universal quick search bars that people rely on to navigate. As a result, you end up wasting time blindly clicking around just to find basic settings.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Clicking around the new interface randomly to manually find moved features
  2. 2
Reverting to the "old" or classic view of the interface to access the missing features.
