Why does the gas pump keep clicking off when my tank isn't full?
Fuel tanks can build up excessive pressure or experience venting blockages that trick the automatic shut-off mechanism into thinking the tank is already full. This forces drivers to constantly fight the pump trigger or deal with slow, bubbling overflows when trying to refuel.
