Why do my brakes squeal only when reversing?
Brake pads often develop a high-pitched squeal when applied in reverse due to normal wear and tear, indicating that the pads are wearing down and nearing replacement time. This noise can signal that the brake material is low or that minor vibrations are occurring against the rotor when moving backward.
