Why is my HVAC fan running when turned off?
Air continues blowing from the indoor vents even when the system is turned off and the fan is set to auto. You can clearly hear this indoor blower running while the large outdoor unit stays completely off. This unexpected airflow usually causes more concern about the system than actual annoyance.
