Ceiling fan has power at switch but won't turn on
Even though power and connections have been verified, the fan fails to run at all. This prevents the unit from moving air and functioning properly.
What people tried
Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.
- 1checking the capacitor for bulging or damage
- 2checking incoming supply voltage and low voltage signal at the motor
- 3jumping R to G on the terminal block
