Lawn mower shaking badly right after changing the blade

A lawn mower vibrates excessively right after a blade swap, making it impossible to safely cut the lawn. This often happens when people replace a damaged blade with a new one.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
    Check blade orientation and seating
  2. 2
    Balance the blade
  3. 3
    buying a new replacement blade
  4. 4
sharpening the damaged blade with an angle grinder or bastard file
  5. 5
taking the blade to someone else to be sharpened
