Said It Here

Why is nobody ordering from classroom book clubs?

Parents simply do not place orders, leaving teachers unable to earn rewards or points for their classroom libraries despite years of trying. This lack of engagement makes the program feel like a waste of time, causing teachers to give up entirely after their first attempt.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Promoting the flyers extensively by going over them with students
  2. 2
Sending home reminders and step-by-step ordering instructions via parent newsletters and communication apps
  3. 3
Setting strict deadlines and encouraging kids to nag their parents
  4. 4
Switching to classroom e-wallets for physical book fairs instead
