Said It Here

Why is my entire day eaten up by meetings and micromanagement?

Constant meetings eat up entire workdays while team members remain reluctant to take ownership and require input on every task. This leaves managers overwhelmed and unable to focus on bigger responsibilities.

What people tried

Every workaround mentioned in the threads below. We haven’t tested any of them — and nobody here is claiming they worked.

  1. 1
Reading management books like 'Turn the Ship Around'
  2. 2
Asking team members 'What do YOU think we should do?' instead of making decisions for them
  3. 3
    paying more for management
  4. 4
    setting clear boundaries with clients

“The hardest thing to deal with is employees not staying bc it's long, hot and well basic pay until you own it. Plus some guys steal tools and break stuff constantly”source ↗
