Odometer and trip meter not working while car drives fine
Dashboard information systems like odometers, trip meters, and speedometers can fail completely even when the engine starts and the car drives normally. While internal gears often appear completely intact upon inspection, the failure prevents drivers from tracking mileage and vehicle data.
