How to get melted plastic off a car exhaust pipe
Driving with melted plastic on an exhaust pipe is generally safe once the bulk of it is scraped off, though it will produce a strong burning smell until the remainder burns away. Alternatively, the pipe can be heated up to soften the residue for easier peeling, or cleaned with specialized products like oven cleaner once cooled.
