Can I get rid of basement ductwork bulkheads?
Making the vents flush with the ceiling eliminates the low-hanging bulkheads that force people to duck when coming down the basement stairs. Without removing this HVAC ductwork, the limited headroom causes concern about losing even more height when installing a drop ceiling to finish the basement.
